Arrangements in memory of Andrey Tarkovsky were held in Yurievets on his birthday, on April, 4th. The arrangements had their continuation on April, 5th in Ivanovo: creative meetings with visitors of Days in memory of Andrey Tarkovsky were held.

Days in memory of Andrey Tarkovsky has already became a tradition. Among the guests of the Days was the president of the international film festival “Zerkalo” Pavel Lungin – a film director, a winner of the Cannes film festival, National artist of Russia ; an actress,  a film director, National actress of the Russian Federation Natalia Bondarchuk; Andrey Tarkovsky’s sister, a member of the Union of cinematographers of Russia, an author of books “About Tarkovsky” and “Splinters of a mirror” Marina Tarkovskaya; a film director, a scripwriter, a fellow student of A.Tarkovsky, an author of the book “Thirst not satisfied” Alexander Gordon; Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, a costume designer of a film studio “Mosfilm”, a costume designer of A.Tarkovsky’s films “Solaris”, “Stalker”, “Mirror” Nelly Fomina.

Guests and participants of Days in memory of Andrey Tarkovsky visited the Church of Nativity of Christ, the House-museum of the director, a photo-exhibition of costumes by Nelly Fomina to the films “Solaris”, “Stalker”, “Mirror” that was opened  in the Museum of  History and Art in Yurievets.

The IV International Film Festival “Zerkalo” was given its start within the limits of Days in memory of Andrey Tarkovsky. The president of a film festival Pavel Lungin told some words about the coming festival: “The festival must be unique, with its specific features ant specific subject”. The name of Tarkovsky causes some certain associations all over the world. I think that the name is winning enough for attracting the most interesting films to the festival”.

Creative meetings with Marina Tarkovskaya, Alexander Gordon, Nelly Fomina, and Natalia Bondarchuk were held and a film “The Apple year” was shown in Ivanovo on Monday.
